Got the last files back this morning. Next: learn how to set up accounts for Amazon and Bookvault and start uploading these things so I can order proofs. Oof. I’ll be glad when I’m doing all this for a 2nd time and not the first. Hah.
Waiting till all is 'perfect' or as perfect as you can make it is the way to go, Lausanne. I'm not sure if this is your debut novel, but my editor told me on my first novel, "You only have a debut novel once." Even if it's not-- treat it as such, bc it is soon to have a life of its own! Congratulations on getting this far!!!!!!
WOW, that's a short story right there! Or a great comedy movie. And a seven hour drive from Florida puts you up my way, depending on where in Florida, you might be in the Carolinas or Georgia. It is beautiful here, and you can have your snow and eat chocolate, too.
We drifted a bit west as well, so we’re now in NE Alabama. All beautiful country! This coastal gal is now on high ground feeling my old Appalachian roots tingle. :)
