Always good to see more historical novels! For me, none of these eras/settings sound appealing. I feel like I already know where the story is going and where its boundaries will be set before I pick it up. There tends to be very few surprises…. Hope I’m wrong!
To answer my own question: I find James the most intriguing and may well pursue it. I’ve dropped it in my shopping cart. If I can drill down my TBR stack …
